The screengrab above is from a Peter King tweet that he did just a few days ago. BTW, saying Peter King and "tweet" in the same sentence is about as dirty as German snuff porn.

Either way, here's Sir-Eats-Alot first observation from this week's MMQB..
a. Tom Brady got hit too much, and he got hit too much by the Bengals.
What the fuck does that even mean. Whatever happened to that "pass-rush" being the best thing to ever happen to Brady in preseason week 2?? Seriously King, you're as reliable as Chris Simms' spleen.

Oh, and then he wrote this drivel again..

c. Said it before and I'll say it again: Derek Jeter's the best baseball player of my lifetime.

Fuck me with a rusty crowbar. You know what's worse than Peter King writing about football? It's Peter King writing about baseball. Holy shit Aunt Jemima, I don't even know where to begin with that statement.

Your "lifetime" is seeing Albert Pujols. Your lifetime has seen Griffey. It has seen Bonds, Manny and A-Rod. I know those three are as tainted as a Paris Hilton blood test, but even without the 'roids they would still be superior to Jeter. Christ in a hand basket, Derek Jeter is not the best player of your pathetic lifetime.

Your lifetime has seen Greg Maddux in his prime. It has seen Pedro in his prime. You know what, I don't even want to go on. Fuck it. Really, fuck it. This is not good for my blood pressure...

EDIT: Peter King is 52 years old. Guys like Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron and Willie Mays have played some amount baseball since the day that Peter King popped into this world. He might not have seen these guys play, but they belong to the list of players that have played the sport during Peter King's lifetime.

This comment summed it up best over at KSK...

PK was also alive for parts of these careers: Sandy Koufax, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Henry Aaron, Mariano Rivera, and Pedro Martinez. Seriously. Ted FUCKING Williams.

Great comment. Lofty comment.
