Woke up today with an e-mail in the ol' inbox telling me that the Braves sent Jeff Francoeur packing to the Mets in return for Ryan Church. It's no surprise really because Francoeur has been as good with the bad over the past two seasons as this guy is in social surroundings.
It's sad in a way because every Braves fan expected Jeff to become the next face of the franchise but when you have as much baseball skills as a constipated armadillo, the front office will only put up with you for so long.
Two things will happen now. Francoeur will either learn how to play baseball and single handedly lead the Mets to the World series - in which case he will get his kidneys gutted by Mac - or he'll continue to be allergic to basehits, in which case he'll get his liver destroyed by depressed Met guy. Either way, it's bound to end in a very horrific way.

With Francoeur gone, you'd think that the Braves will field a mildly decent team now and actually have a shot in the weak NL East but who I am I kidding. Happiness and success elude me like talent eludes Perez Hilton. (I'm not a "playa", I just crush a lot)
If you're a betting man, take the Phillies to win the division.
